Knesset Israel encourages family involvement in every area of Jewish life, from services to holiday programming to Jewish education. The congregation creates opportunities to help learners of all ages develop intellectually, emotionally and spiritually in the context of a supportive community. We are serious about being welcoming and understand that every familiy is unique. We affirm that families with children who have special needs, LGBT families, interfaith families, families headed by a single parent or grandparent, etc, are all welcome.
We further share a commitment that financial hardship should not compromise a child's Jewish education or an individual's participation in congregational life.
Providing a quality Jewish education is fundamental to the identity and purpose of Congregation Knesset Israel. Our schools and youth groups, together with our partnership with Camp Ramah in New England, empower our students to grow into their mandate to join the next generation of Jewish leaders.
